- Engineering role
Industrial reporting system (anonymized)
Industrial reporting add-ons and KPI data paths structured on existing PLC, SCADA and historian layers within an OEM-led machine delivery.
- OEM support
- Reporting
- KPI
- NDA-based
Context
An OEM-led machine delivery required customer-specific reporting beyond standard HMI screens, using existing PLC and historian constraints.
Problem
End-user acceptance needed batch, material and alarm-history views without destabilizing the OEM's base SCADA application.
Approach
Work included data source mapping, KPI definition workshops, report template structure and validation scenarios aligned with the OEM's as-built project file, test records and handover documentation. Reporting remained an add-on layer — not a replacement SCADA platform.
Deliverables
- Data source map across PLC, SCADA and historian
- KPI and report template structure
- Batch and material usage report definitions
- Validation scenarios and FAT/SAT scenarios and acceptance test records
- As-built project file, test records and handover documentation for reporting layer
Result
KPI and report template structure on the existing PLC/SCADA/historian data path was configured to remain maintainable after machine handover.

Anonymized representative industrial interface.
Scope areas
- Data source map (PLC / SCADA / historian)
- KPI and report template structure
- Historian / SQL data flow alignment
- Operator input flows where required
- FAT/SAT scenarios and acceptance test records
- As-built project file, test records and handover documentation
Confidentiality
NDA-based engineering support under OEM project structure. No end-customer names, plant identifiers or live process values are published.
